This year, RBI has scheduled RBI Grade B exam for preliminary and mains stage as 6th March and 1-April respectively. It is considered one of the reputed bank examination with major perks and allowances. RBI Grade B preliminary paper is different from other banking examination as general awareness forms its major portion. Why is there a need to check RBI Grade B cut-off of last year?

Cut-offs are needed to know the level of examination as well as the average performance of all candidates. After the release of RBI Grade B notification 2021, huge candidates must have tighten their belt as it is not like the normal banking examination. It needs a lot of efforts and a proper strategy. For preparing yourself for RBI Grade B officer, you need to go through last year question paper and cut-off marks to be exam ready.
RBI Grade B exam are a three tier process: preliminary, mains and interview. The preliminary stage has following pattern:

However, the mains exam consist of 3 paper. For the post of RBI Grade B (general), a candidate has to attempt all the three papers. However, for the post of DEPR, DSIR only paper II and III is needed. Here is the pattern for RBI Grade B mains:
