Directions (1-2): In the following questions the symbols #,*, @, $ and © are used with the following meanings: 


1) A # B means A is greater than B. 
2) A * B means A is greater than or equal to B. 
3) A @ B means A is equal to B. 
4) A $ B means A is less than B. 
5) A © B means A is less than or equal to B. 


Now in each of the following questions, assuming the three statements to be true, find which of the two conclusions I and II given below them is/are true. Give answer. 


Q1. Statements: P # Q, R $ P, R * 0 
       Conclusions: I. Q # R

Q2. Statements: P © Q, T @ R, R # P 
       Conclusions: I. T # Q

Q3. Pointing to a photograph, Rahul said “She is the wife of my grandfather’s only child” then how Rahul is related to the photograph?

Q4. Rahul is walking on an empty road after a while he noticed that his shadow is falling to his right. In which direction Rahul is walking?

There are two possible cases when the boy walking towards north and
sun is in west direction than the shadow

Q5. There are five sticks i.e. A, B, C, D and E all are of different length, B’s length is greater than only D. A’s length is greater than B and C but A is not the lengthiest. Then which stick is the lengthiest among them?

Directions (11-15): Read the following information and answer the questions. 


Eight actors A, B, C, D, E, F, G, & H play for three different stage shows Dance 3+, DID and IGT and all of them wear eight different clothes viz. Sari, Hanfu, Kimono, Habnok, Sherwani, Tembel Hat, Sarong and Thawb not necessarily in the same order. At least two and not more than three actors play for the same stage show. B plays for DID and wears Sari. C wears Habnok but do not play for Dance 3+. No one from IGT wears Thawb. The only other person in same stage show with B wears Kimono. E wears Thawb and F wears Hanfu. H does not wear Kimono and plays for the same stage show with E. A and G both play for IGT. The one who plays for IGT does not wear Tembel Hat. G does not wear Sarong.


 Q11. Which cloth does G wear?

Solution:

First
of all, place all the given condition according to their actors. B plays for
DID and wears Sari. C wears Habnok but do not play for Dance 3+. The only other
person in same stage show with B, wears Kimono. E wears Thawb and F wears
Hanfu. A and G both play for IGT.

Now, the only other person in
same stage show with B, wears Kimono. That means, only two artist  plays in DID. H does not wear Kimono and
plays for the same stage show with E. Now, we know DID is full, we have only two
option for H and E that is either Dance 3+ or IGT but there is a condition that
at least two and not more than three actors play for the same stage show and No
one from IGT wears Thawb. So, H and E plays in Dance 3+. C wears Habnok but do
not play for Dance 3+ that means he plays for IGT. The one who plays for IGT
does not wear Tembel Hat that means H wears Tembel Hat. G does not wear Sarong
then A wears Sarong and G wears Sherwani. Now only one artist is left who plays
for DID, is D.
