SBI Clerk 2021: Important Dates

The SBI Clerk recruitment process got delayed last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown, so there is a possibility that SBI Clerk 2021 Notification might get released late. As per the expectations, the official notification of SBI Clerk 2021 will get published in March/April. The following are the important events that are related to SBI Clerk 2021 recruitment, and their dates will be known with the release of the official notification of SBI Clerk 2021.

SBI Clerk 2021 Exam Pattern (Prelims & Mains)

SBI Clerk 2021 consists of two phases i.e. Preliminary exam and Mains exam followed by the LPT test (if applicable). Following is the SBI Clerk 2021 exam pattern for Phase 1 & Phase 2.

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination consists of Objective Tests for 100 marks is conducted online. There are 20 minutes for each subject which means a total of 1 hour.

Candidates have to qualify for the objective test by clearing the cut-off to be decided by the officials of the SBI. There will be no sectional cutoff in SBI Clerk 2021. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 10 times the number of vacancies subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Mains Examination.

Phase – II: Main Examination
SBI Clerk 2021 Mains Examination consists of Objective Tests for 200 marks and there will be a total of 2 hours and 40 minutes. There will be sectional timings for each section. The below table shows the detailed pattern of the SBI Clerk 2021 Mains Examination.

SBI Clerk Salary

SBI Clerk 2021 official notification is not yet released. We are sharing the salary & other details based on SBI Clerk 2020. As per the official notification of 2020, the pay scale of SBI Clerk is Rs.11765-655/ 3-13730-815/ 3-16175-980/ 4-20095-1145/ 7-28110-2120/ 1-30230-1310/1-31450. The starting Basic Pay is Rs.13075/- (Rs11765/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates).

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for SBI Clerk 2021 are basically based on two conditions i.e. Academic Qualifications and Age. 

Essential Academic Qualifications:

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
• Basic knowledge of computers is a must.
• The date of passing the eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark-sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute.
