Name: K Daniel

Designation: Probationary Officer in SBI (Batch 2019)

Hello Everyone,

If I have to make you walk through the 23 years of my existence on this planet, I am K Daniel (elder son of Mr and Mrs.Thimothy), blessed with one younger brother and graduated in 2017. At first, I would like to thank Almighty for making my dream come true and then my parents, without them I am nothing. My journey to prepare for bank exams began right after my graduation in 2017. Though I had loads of options, I preferred banking sector to them. Being merit student from my childhood, I never thought it would take this long. Prelims was a cakewalk for me.

So, mains was my primary focus. Right from my day one, I used to Practice Adda247 Mocks, Daily Quizzes and Mahamocks. This helped me enrich my analytical skills. I got disappointed when I didn’t clear mains. Sumit sir’s quant classes helped me a lot and made me realise where I lacked. I started preparing for SBI PO from the day the notification was released. Subject wise quizzes were very useful to analyse where I stood in the competition. Though I tasted failure many times, I never gave up and only because of that, I am finally selected. Had I got any job that I missed, I wouldn’t have been SBI PO as I am now. So, “waiting time is never wasting time”

Exams I’ve appeared for:

. RRB PO and Clerk 2017- failed in prelims

. IBPS PO 2017- failed in prelims

. IBPS Clerk 2017- failed in mains ( cleared overall cut-off but out in sectional)

. SBI Clerk 2018- failed in mains

. SBI PO 2018- failed in prelims

. IBPS PO 2018- failed in prelims( out by 0.5 marks)

. IBPS Clerk 2018- failed in mains( out by 4 marks)

. LIC AAO 2019- failed in mains

. SBI Clerk 2019- waiting for final result

. RRB PO 2019- cleared mains

. RRB Clerk 2019- cleared prelims but didn’t appear for mains

. SBI PO 2019- prelims: 80.75, mains: 94.81( cleared with 0.53 marks), GD & GE : 18/20, PI: 27/30, overall score: 50.94(48.7 cutoff), got 1st preference( Hyd Circle)

Persistence and strenuous effort are the key to success. Remember, daily practice is must to crack any banking exam. It’s not important how many mocks you have taken, it’s important how much you analyzed your performance with respect to the previous ones.

My special thanks to Adda247 Team for making my dream come true as they played a vital role in bringing the best in me.

To the ones reading my success story. Keep working hard. Don’t lose hope and push yourself harder saying ” Once more”.
