SSC JE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

SSC JE 2025 Selection Process

The selection for SSC JE 2025 will be carried out in the following stages:

Paper-I (Computer-Based Test):

• Negative marking of 0.25 marks

Paper-II (Computer-Based Test):

SSC JE Exam Pattern

The SSC JE 2025 selection process comprises two computer-based tests, Paper I and Paper II, followed by document verification. Both exams are objective in nature. Paper I focuses on general awareness and reasoning, along with basic engineering, while Paper II is entirely subject-specific.

Note: There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks in Paper I & 1 mark in Paper II for each answer marked wrong.

SSC JE Salary 2025

Selected candidates for SSC JE posts will be placed under Pay Level 6 of the 7th Pay Commission, with a basic pay of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month. Along with the basic salary, they are entitled to additional allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and other government benefits. The in-hand salary is attractive and grows steadily with promotions and experience.
