Sharma told reporters.

1. Behemoth [bih-hee-muh th, bee-uh-] 
Noun: an animal, perhaps the hippopotamus, mentioned in Job 40:15–24; any creature or thing of monstrous size or power.
Synonyms: beast, leviathan, monster, mammoth, huge.
Example: ITC to foray into perishables by adding vegetables, fruits.
2. Foray [fawr-ey, for-ey] 
Noun: a quick raid, usually for the purpose of taking plunder; a quick, sudden attack; an initial venture.
Synonyms: inroad, invasion, raid, attack, depredation, descent, irruption, reconnaissance, sally, sortie.
Antonyms: abstention, idleness, laziness.
3. Perishable [per-i-shuh-buh l] 
Adjective: subject to decay, ruin, or destruction.
Noun: Usually, perishables. something perishable, especially food.
Synonyms: comestibles, edibles, foodstuffs, produce, staples, vegetables, viands.
Example: Company scouts for CEO to build multi-speciality hospitals.
4. Scout [skout] 
Noun: a soldier, warship, airplane, etc., employed in reconnoitering; a person sent out to obtain information.
Verb: to act as a scout; reconnoiter; to make a search; hunt; to work as a talent scout.
Synonyms: investigating
detective, recruiter, advance, adventurer, escort, explorer, guard, lookout, outpost, outrider, patrol.
Antonym: target.

Example: ‘Scheme for banks not applied as envisaged’.
5. Envisage [en-viz-ij] 
Verb: to contemplate; visualize; to look in the face of; face.
Synonyms: anticipate, behold, conceive, conceptualize, contemplate, externalize, fancy, feature, foresee, form mental.
Example: A sunny Friday featuring a rain-interlude ebbed away with a rainbow in the sky.
6. Ebb [eb] 
Noun: the flowing back of the tide as the water returns to the sea (opposed to flood, flow ); a flowing backward or away; decline or decay; a point of decline.
Verb: to flow back or away, as the water of a tide (opposed to flow ); to decline or decay; fade away.
Synonyms: abatement, backflow, decay, decrease, degeneration, depreciation, deterioration, diminution, drop, dwindling, flagging, lessening, recession.
Antonyms: advance, development, enlargement, expansion, growth.

Example: Kalisz and Dressel scintillate.
7. Scintillate [sin-tl-eyt] 
Verb: to emit sparks; to sparkle; flash; to twinkle, as the , s.
Synonyms: flash, glimmer, glitter, shine, sparkle.
Antonym: dull.

Example: The decision by Pakistan’s Supreme Court to disqualify Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reaffirms the iron law of Pakistani politics: a politician can amass wealth and engage in corruption only as long as he does not challenge the ascendance of the country’s powerful national security establishment.
8. Ascendance [uh-sen-duh n-s] 
Noun: the state of being in the ascendant; governing or controlling influence; domination.
Synonyms: ascendancy, control, domination, mastery, power, predominance, preeminence, preponderance, rule, superiority, supremacy, preponderancy, upper hand.
Antonyms: inefficiency, inferiority, subservience, surrender.

Example: Although Mr. Sharif has ostensibly been disqualified over the so-called Panama Papers, which exposed holders of offshore bank accounts, the verdict against him has little to do with the revelations in the Panama Papers.
9. Ostensible [o-sten-suh-buh l] 
Adjective: outwardly appearing as such; professed; pretended; apparent, evident, or conspicuous.
Related forms: ostensibly, adverb.
Synonyms: evidently, officially, seemingly, supposedly, at first blush, externally, for all intents and purposes, for show, on the face, on the surface, outwardly.
Antonyms: improbably, obscurely, unlikely.

Example: Anatomy of the Trump presidency.

10. Anatomy [uh-nat-uh-mee] 
Noun: the science dealing with the structure of animals and plants; the structure of an animal or plant, or of any of its parts; dissection of all or part of an animal or plant in order to study its structure; an analysis or minute examination.
Synonyms: analysis, biology, cytology, diagnosis, dissection, division, embryology, etiology, examination, genetics, histology.
