"You Have The Power To Conquer Every Battle In Life", Says Manu Nandwani |Selected in IBPS RRB PO 2019

Hello Everyone,

My name is Manu Nandwani, on Jan1,2020 one of my dreams came true as I got selected for RRB PO, that was the happiest day of my life and since then I have been thinking of writing this and finally today I am sending it to you.

My journey just like any other aspirant has seen a lot of mental and emotional breakdowns. So, this is how I started, this is from the time I was in my final year of graduation, I used to attend my coaching in the morning, continued by my classes in college and later in the evening I used to teach students in a coaching center.

I always dreamt of being a government officer but didn’t want to take any chance and I appeared for college campus as well, where I got placed in TCS and Amazon(where I am still working).

So, just after I completed my final exams in college I stopped giving tuitions and joined Amazon on June 17, 2019. Initially, my shift was from 3 pm to 12 am. So, every day I used to get up early around 6 am in the morning and start with revising current affairs and then after the revision of all the subjects I used to give speed tests, which helped me a lot in my accuracy.
Since I was working for complete 9hours along with managing the house alone(since my parents look after the business and my elder sister lives in Nagpur, who is also working as PO in BOB), I didn’t get much time to study. So, I also used to study in between my working hours, and I clearly remember solving Adda Quizzes in those 15mins. I always kept the GA capsule PDFs on my phone, so that whenever and wherever I had time, I could study. Also, I remember working till 12 at night and then again getting up early the next day to report on time for my mains exam.

Then on Sept2, a tragedy happened, when my parents met with a road accident around 8-8:30 pm, and I had to rush to the hospital from work. In the accident, my mother got a major head injury and my father had some bruises. I cannot forget that day, I was shivering and crying, and could not face my mother. Later at night, she was shifted to ICU and later started recovering. That was the time I was managing everything on my own be it my studies, my job or my family, this was the time I decided to quit my job, but my Managers in Amazon helped me a lot and I continued with the job. This was the most difficult time since it was the time while I was giving my exams (plus the financial crunch, that I have never really discussed)

To all those who read this, I would say ‘Never lose HOPE’, when life sets these high waves for you, it is you who has to be strong and sail through it and show the world that you have the power to conquer every battle in life.

Also, when you think you are losing in life, it is actually the time when you struggle hard and you turn the table to having success in life.

In this struggling journey of mine, my parents and my sister have stood like strong pillars for me, I can never thank them enough for all their support. I always had my Father in mind, for whom I had to come up as a winner. Also, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Adda247, since my major preparation was done by practicing the daily quizzes and full-length tests also the current affairs capsule have been of utmost help (plus, I have always got a reply from the Adda team for my doubts).
