You can clear all your queries about the IBPS RRB examination by the FAQ’s provided to you by Adda247.

Talking about your preparation for the Syllabus for the IBPS RRB the two main subjects that you need to be excellent at are Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning for the preliminary examination of 2019.

Quantitative Aptitude:
All you need to do to score the maximum in the quantitative aptitude section is by practice. The basic concepts should be crystal clear and practiced on a regular basis, as for banking exams basic concepts will come in handy rather than tricks. Choose the questions wisely and try not to get stuck on a particular question for too long. Instead of trying to attempt the maximum number of questions, always try to focus on the accuracy when attempting the paper. Attempt the questions on Quadratic Equations, Simplification, and Approximation first and then going for Number Series. After having attempted all these questions efficiently, go for Data Interpretation. The remaining few questions will be based on miscellaneous topics like CI & SI, Time and Work, Pipes, and Cisterns, Partnership, etc. Attempt those miscellaneous topics first which you are good at.
Reasoning:
Reasoning can be a tricky section for most of the students and it is important to solve questions and at the same time keep a watch on the time that is passing by. Reasoning can be a very good scoring subject if you get the hang of types of questions asked and the tricks that follow in similar questions. The expected number of questions on puzzles and seating arrangement is 15-20. Start with the questions that are not in the form of puzzles, you can choose to start with the questions based on inequalities, direction and distance, syllogism, coding-decoding, alphanumeric series, and other random topics. Then try to start with puzzles that appear easy to be solved and proceed with moderate and difficult puzzles in a similar way.
Now talking about the basic preparation where you prepare your body and mind for the examination.
Assign study hours:
Assign the study hours to the different subjects that will be asked in the examination equally. Remember not to prioritize a single subject in your study schedule, thereby giving the cold shoulder to other equivalently grave subjects. So, even if you are a dab hand at Quant, practice it daily like any other subject you are not so good at.
Analyze and learn from the past :
Whatever you scored, and however you performed in the last exam is going to help you a lot. Aspirants think that failure is a setback when it is just one more test drive through the rough roads. You already got the hang of the type of question asked and the time taken by each type of question. So that you can manage your time better this time.
Be wise and revise:
You must be getting new information from all around you. People trying to help you by pitching new ideas and topics to ease your preparation are actually making it more challenging. Any new data you try to feed your brain as a booster is going to jam it. So, whatever you have learned till now, trust it and revise it thoroughly.
Give mock tests:
Fix a day and time, and give a mock test that simulates the real examination every day. Once you are used to giving such speed tests, any online examination no longer seems outlandish to you and you score fairly well.
Keep calm and give exam:
In the end, keep your confidence high and do not stress over the exam. The only thing that can save you is your revision and accuracy. Plan a smart strategy. Read every question carefully answer them within the allotted time. Eat well and don’t be the night owl. Rest and get enough sleep, especially in upcoming days.
