CCRAS Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection process varies depending on the group to which the post is applied.
For Group A posts, which include prestigious positions like Research Officers, the selection will be a two-stage process:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): 70 marks
- Personal Interview: 30 marks
- The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in both stages.
For Group B and C posts such as Assistants, UDCs, LDCs, and MTS, the selection will be based solely on the CBT exam, which will be of 100 marks. There will be no interview for these categories, and the final selection will be purely merit-based as per the CBT scores.
CCRAS Recruitment 2025 Exam Pattern
The CCRAS Recruitment 2025 Exam Pattern consists of different processes for Group A, B, and C posts. For Group A posts (e.g., Research Officers), candidates will first have to give an CBT online exam which is of 70 marks and if selected, they will attend an interview which is of 30 marks. For Group B and C posts, the selection will be based entirely on the online exam (CBT), which is of 100 marks. Additionally, there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the CBT, except for MTS posts.
