ABHORRENT (Adjective) : घिनौना
Meaning: inspiring disgust and loathing; repugnant.
Synonyms: detestable, hateful, abominable, repugnant
Antonyms: acceptable, agreeable, alluring, delightful
Example: Jack’s abhorrent behavior caused him to get kicked out of the restaurant.

FARCE (Noun) : स्वांग
Meaning: an event or situation that is absurd or disorganized.
Synonyms: absurdity, mockery, travesty, sham
Example: The debate turned into a drunken farce.

STARK (Adjective)  : कठोर
Meaning: severe or bare in appearance or outline.
Synonyms: crist, distinct, obvious, evident
Antonyms: indistinct, pleasant, comfortable, ornate
Example: The house’s living room was stark and held only one couch.

OBFUSCATE(Verb) : भ्रमित करना
Meaning:to confuse
Synonyms: befog, confuse
Antonyms: clarify, befog
Example:She was criticized for using arguments that obfuscated the main issue.

OBDURATE(Adjective) : हठी
Meaning:stubbornly persistent in wrongdoing
Synonyms:callous, stubborn
Antonyms: humane, sensitive
Example:Union leaders remain obdurate that working conditions and pay improve.

SOPHISTRY(Noun) : सत्य का आभास

Meaning:subtly deceptive reasoning or argumentation
Synonyms: casuistry, fallacy
Antonyms: honesty, truth
Example: Some complain soccer is a chintzy distraction from the sophistry of our ruling classes.

SPLURGE (verb)  : शेख़ी
Meaning: to spend extravagantly or ostentatiously.
Synonyms: waste, squander, dissipate, disburse.
Antonyms: economize, conserve, preserve, retain.
Example: Should I splurge on the really nice camera or just buy one of the cheap models?

FABLED (adjective) : झूठा
Meaning: mythical; imaginary.
Synonyms: fictitious, hypothetical, apocryphal, allegorical.
Antonyms: authentic, existent, factual, confirmed.
Example: Long after the kingdoms of southern Arabia disappeared, the fabled riches of the region live on in the popular imagination.

FURLOUGH (noun) : थोड़े दिन की छुट्टी
Meaning: leave of absence, especially that granted to a member of the services or a missionary.
Synonyms: break, rest, recess, day off.
Antonyms: rehire, recall, travail, toil.
Example: I have just learned that Cousin George has got his furlough extended thirty days.
