1.ECHELON (noun) विभाग
Meaning: a level or rank in an organization, a profession,
or society.
Synonyms: status, rank, grade, stratum.
Antonyms:  slope,
unemployment, unsettle.
Usage: The prominent college ranks among the top echelon of
schools in the nation.
2.PROPRIETY (noun) औचित्य
Meaning: conformity to conventionally accepted standards of
behavior or morals.
Synonyms: decorum, appropriateness, courtesy, sobriety.
Antonyms: irrelevance, inappropriateness, inaptness,
infelicity.
Usage: While teachers were once thought to be pictures of
propriety, today they are often viewed as mean people without morals.
3.UNSCATHED (adjective) अक्षत
Meaning: without suffering any injury, damage, or harm.
Synonyms: intact, safe, unscarred, secure.
Antonyms: hurt, injured, harmed, wounded.
Usage: It was strange how the fire destroyed most of the
city but left the church unscathed.
4.CUTTING EDGE (adjective) अग्रणी
Meaning: highly advanced; innovative or pioneering.
Synonyms: progressive, revolutionary, trailblazing, novel.
Antonyms: conventional, customary, established, traditional.
Usage: The best militaries in the world have to be cutting
edge and always purchase the latest technology.
5.TACIT (adjective) सूचित
Meaning: understood or implied without being stated.
Synonyms: implicit, inferred, insinuated, unspoken.
Antonyms: blatant, evident, manifest, explicit.
Usage: In my business, all that is needed for a tacit
understanding is a handshake between men.
6.PRAGMATISM (noun) व्यवहारवाद
Meaning: the quality of dealing with a problem in a sensible
way that suits the conditions that really exist, rather than following fixed
theories, ideas, or rules.
Synonyms: prudence, expediency, sensibleness, practicality.
Antonyms: idealism, inappropriateness, impracticality,
timidity.
Usage: The bumper payday was partly a result of pragmatism
and caution rather than grand design.
7. EPONYMOUS (adjective) नामस्रोत
Meaning:  of, relating
to, or being the person or thing for whom or which something is named.
Synonyms: namesake, cognominal, homonymous, swashbuckling.
Antonyms: anonymous, pseudo, unidentified, undisclosed.
Usage: By a curious coincidence all the names of eponymous
heroes chanced to remind people of beasts.
8. DECREE (noun) हुक्मनामा
Meaning: an official order that has the force of law.
Synonyms: directive, resolution, verdict, dictum.
Antonyms: appeal, entreaty, petition, plea.
Usage: When the president signed the decree on equal rights,
everyone in the audience cheered.
9.DENIZEN (noun) निवासी
Meaning: a person, animal, or plant that lives or is found
in a particular place.
Synonyms: inhabitant, occupant, resident, tenant.
Antonyms: visitor, emigrant, evacuee, expatriate.
Usage: The author of Atlanta’s latest guidebook is a
longtime denizen of the city who knows all the best places to visit.
10. RESORT(verb) प्रयोग
करना
Meaning: turn to and adopt (a course of action, especially
an extreme or undesirable one) so as to resolve a difficult situation.
Synonyms: expedient, recourse, makeshift, substitute.
Antonyms: abstain, dodge, halt, shun.

Usage: Excluded from parliament by the fatal error of his
youth, he was compelled to resort to indirect means of working out his plans by
influencing public men.
