1. What is the post for which aspirants can apply?
Aspirants can apply for the post of Probationary Officer. It is an All India level exam. A number of aspirants have applied for the post of IBPS PO.

3. What is the age criteria to appear for the exam?

Minimum age
20 years
Maximum age
30 years.
A candidate has to follow the age criteria, He should be eligible to appear for the exam. Avoiding the age criteria may lead to the failure of your candidature for this or even for the upcoming exams. The candidate should Not below 20 years and not above 30 years as on 1st August 2019 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.08.1999 and not earlier than 02.08.1989 (both days inclusive). 

4. What is the educational qualification required for various posts in this recruitment process?
As quoted in the official notification –

All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the final result should have been declared on or before 28.08.2019.
Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before 28.08.2019 has
to be submitted at the time of the interview. The date of passing the eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark-sheet or provisional certificate issued by University / Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University / Institute and the web-based certificate is issued then proper document/certificate in original issued and signed by the appropriate authority of the University / Institute indicating the date of passing properly mentioned thereon will be reckoned for verification and further process.”

5. Am I eligible if I have scored only 55% marks in graduation?
Yes, you can apply as there is no percentage criterion. You just need to be a graduate.
6. I am 20 years old, can I appear for this exam?
Yes, you can appear for the exam. You must be at least 20 years of age and not more than 30 years of age as on 01.08.2019.
7. When will the registration start and end to apply for the IBPS PO 2019? (As per the notification)

The start and end dates of online registration dates are tentative. Preliminary exam 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th October 2019

9. What is the application fee required to fill this form?

For SC/ST/PWD 100/- (Intimation Charges only)
For General, OBC  600/- (App. Fee including intimation charges)

Your form will be considered only if you have paid the application fees. It is the last procedure of applying to the post. Without paying the fee with the intimation charges your application will be considered incomplete. So, submit the fee before the time is over.

10. Is there any quota for the reserved category?
Yes, Relaxation in the age and fee has been given to the reserved category as per the government guidelines. Please refer to the official notification before filling up the IBPS PO 2019 form as a candidate of reserved category.

11. What is the EWS category?
Few benefits have been given to the economically weaker section of the society apart from the reserved category. The government has approved a 10% reservation for the EWS category candidates. One has to produce the certificate of the same to be eligible for the EWS category. Kindly refer to the official notification for the guidelines given by the government.

13. How the IBPS PO exam will be conducted?

16. Is there any criterion for negative marking?
Yes, for every wrong answer marked by you, 1/4 of the marks will be deducted against the mark allotted for the same question. Do not mark any answer on mere guessing.
