IBPS RRB PO Main 2019 Exam Analysis, Review: 13th October 2019

IBPS RRB PO Mains 2019 examination is over. Now it’s time for the much awaited IBPS RRB PO Mains Exam Analysis & Review (10th October 2019). Many students have appeared for this exam today and this brings them to a step closer in their journey of getting a Job in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). Without wasting any moment, let’s get straight to the analysis for which you are all waiting for. Overall the exam was of a Easy-Moderate Level.

IBPS RRB PO Mains 2019 exam had 5 sections in the objective test of 200 marks – Quantitative Aptitude, English/Hindi Language, Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, and General Awareness for a composite duration of 120 minutes.

Quantitative Aptitude (Moderate)

This section had 40 questions for 50 marks. The level of Quantitative Aptitude was Moderate and there were 4 sets of Data Interpretation Questions.

The level of English Language section was Easy-Moderate. There were two sets of Reading Comprehension which included 2-3 questions from antonym and synonym.

The level of reasoning was Easy. Total 40 questions were asked in this topic. Following were the types of puzzles asked:

Box Based Puzzle (7 Box, 7 People, Date & Year were given)
Age Based Puzzle (based on country)

The level of this section was very basic most of the questions basic knowledge of computer & its application. Some of the questions/topics asked:

How many KBs in 1 GB?
Internet including IP Address
Software/Hardware
Input/Output Device

General Awareness (Easy-Moderate)

Most of the questions were asked from current affairs and 4-5 questions were asked from Banking Awareness. To the surprise of candidates , in this examination IBPS asked current affairs dating back to 3-4 months. No question was asked from static awareness, Union Budget and Economy Survey.
