A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.

Graduate and Two Years Full-time Post Graduate degree or Two Years Full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HR / HRD/ Social Work / Labor Law.*

Marketing Officer (Scale I)

Graduate and Two Years Full-time MMS (Marketing)/ Two Years Full-time MBA (Marketing)/ Two Years Full-time PGDBA / PGDBM/ PGPM/ PGDM with specialization in Marketing *

* In the case of dual specializations, one of the fields of specialization should be in the field prescribed. In the case of major/ minor specializations, major specialization should be in the stream prescribed. Candidates with a PG Degree (MMS or MBA)/PG Diploma with more than two specializations are not eligible to apply.

NOTE: For posts other than IT Officer Scale I: Candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/ Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the High School/ College/ Institute subjects.

Note: All the educational qualifications mentioned in the application should be from a University/Institution/Board recognized by the Government of India or approved by Government Regulatory Bodies, and the final result should have been declared on or before 21st August 2023.

IBPS SO 2023 Age Limit

The age of a candidate will be calculated as of the months provided in the IBPS SO notification. The maximum and minimum age is given below:

Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age: 30 years

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2003 (both
dates inclusive). There is a relaxation of age for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and other candidates. 

IBPS SO 2023 Exam Pattern

IBPS SO is a three-tier exam i.e. preliminary exam, main exam followed by a Personal Interview. Following is the exam pattern for IBPS SO.

IBPS SO 2023 Prelims Exam Pattern

The preliminary exam of IBPS SO is of 125 marks comprising 150 questions in a time frame of 120 minutes. IBPS SO prelims exam is not common for all the posts but the timings and maximum marks are the same. Also, there is a sectional cut-off in IBPS SO 2023 Exam.
