IBPS Application Process:

The online applicable process will start two month before the date of examination. All the online Application window for IBPS Exams are closed for now . The application for IBPS Exam 2020 has to be done online. IBPS Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility for PO, SO and Clerk varies and a candidate has to meet the age and education qualification criteria to be able to apply for this recruitment. Age- at least 21 years and maximum of 30 years.

IBPS PO Exam

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts IBPS PO Exam annually to recruit probationary officers in Public Sector Banks (PSBs). IBPS PO is a three-tier exam i.e. prelims followed by mains & interview.

In IBPS PO official notification 2018, there were initially 4102 vacancies mentioned which rose to 4252 after the culmination of IBPS PO recruitment process.

IBPS Clerk Exam 

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts IBPS Clerk Exam annually to recruit Clerical Staff in Public Sector Banks (PSBs). IBPS Clerk is a two-tier exam i.e. prelims followed by mains.

IBPS Clerk Prelims 2020 was held on 5th, 12th, 13th December 2020 followed by IBPS Clerk Mains 2020 on 24th January 2021. IBPS released a total of 2557 vacancies for the post of IBPS Clerk 2020.

IBPS Exam Pattern

All IBPS exams now take place in an online mode and the whole recruitment process is commonly referred to as CRP of Common Recruitment Process. The Officer level IBPS exam includes 3 stages- Prelims, Main, Interview and the Clerical level IBPS exam include 2 stages- Preliminary and Main test. The descriptive test is a test of English which contains Letter Writing and Essay with 25 marks and 30 minutes duration.

  • Interview

The total marks assigned to the interview stage is 100. The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for general candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC. The ratio of mains exam and interview for the final merit list will be 80:20.
