IBPS Clerk 2020 Notification

IBPS has released the IBPS Clerk 2020 Notification and a total of 1555 vacancies have been reported this year @ibps.in. The vacancies have been reduced tremendously and hence all the students are requested to kindly fill the form and start working hard for this exam. The application window was open from 2nd September 2020 to 23rd September 2020 and the exam dates are out as well. Prelims examination will take place on 5th, 12th and 13th December 2020 while the mains examination will take place on 24th December 2020.

The online applicable process will start two month before the date of examination.  The application for IBPS Exam 2020 has to be done online. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts IBPS SO Exam annually to recruit Specialist Officers in Public Sector Banks (PSBs). The specialist officers (Scale I) are recruited in various disciplines like:

IBPS Exam Pattern

All IBPS exams now take place in an online mode and the whole recruitment process is commonly reffered to as CRP of Common Recruitment Process. The Officer level IBPS exam include 3 stages- Prelims, Main and Interview and the Clerical level IBPS exam include 2 stages- Preliminary and Main test. The descriptive test is a test of English which contains Letter Writing and Essay with 25 marks and 30 minutes duration.

  • Interview

The total marks assigned to the interview stage is 100. The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for general candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC. The ratio of mains exam and interview for final merit list will be 80:20.
