“Never Give Up, Even if you can’t run, just don’t stop.”: Vaishali Ghanwani ( NIACL AO)- 157

Hello everyone,
Bankers Adda Success Story
I am Vaishali Ghanwani, a 2015 commerce graduate.

I started preparing just 4 days after my last sem exams i.e. from May 2015. I joined coaching classes but was not serious in d beginning. I just used to study for just 1-2 hours including class revision and was not following any website or app. This continued for 5-6 months. I gave many exams in this period like RBI, BHEL, SSC, etc, but wasn’t successful in any of them. IBPS PO MAINS was an eye opener for me as after attempting the mains exam  I realized that I was very lenient in my studies. After this, I started giving mock tests every day and focused more on gk and computer as I had not qualified the sectional cutoff of these two in PO mains. But when I sat for the clerk mains, I realized that I was still not well prepared.  I again started focusing and studying for 5-6 hours a day and gave various mocks.

By the time SBI PO mains came around, I was sure that I will make it in SBI, but again SBI mains was a game changer as the pattern of SBI mains was very different from all the previous exams I had given. Just after a few days of SBI mains came a delighting news, a seminar by Career Power who was opening its 1st branch in Mumbai. Attending the seminar I realized that I was preparing for easy- moderate level sums in maths and reasoning, but exams had the very high difficulty level. The day after I joined Career Power classroom program and started preparing for 10-12 hours a day. I gave daily mock speed tests provided by Career Power and solved each and every sum of the study material provided by them. I also followed Bankers Adda website very religiously and solved all the Quizzes and read every post.

Thus I started clearing mains exams and getting called for interviews. My 1st interview after joining Career Power was of BOB Manipal which went moderate. I was expecting a selection in BOB but when the result came, even though I had cleared all d cutoffs, I was not selected. I had scored only 52 in GD & Pi out of 100, and hence I realized that I needed polishing mi interview skills after which I joined the mock interview session conducted by Career power classes. It proved very helpful.

After BOB I was very demotivated but all of my friends and teachers advised that something much better was waiting for me. I got 108 in RBI ASSISTANTS and the cutoff was 111. Hereafter I started focusing on my studies and I cleared almost every exam and got interview call for IBPS PO, RRB PO, NIACL AO. I fared well in all the interviews and was satisfied with my performance in them. I finally got selected in NIACL AO on 7th March. My success was not limited till here only. I also got selected in Maharashtra Gramin bank as PO, got Bank of India under Clerk 5(reserve list)(2015), and Bank of Baroda in clerk 6(2016).

My strategy:

For gk: I wrote daily gk updates from ADDA website, for static and banking preferred to study material provided by Career power.
All other subjects I solved study material and gave mock tests of Career Power.
Final advice: “NEVER GIVE UP, EVEN IF U CANT RUN AND HAVE TO CRAWL TO REACH UR DESTINATION DO IT, JUST DON’T STOP.”
I Thank my family , the whole team of Career Power Mumbai branch and all the teachers of adda247 videos(cause their teaching is awesome)…
