PNB SO Exam Pattern 2025

Along with the PNB Syllabus 2025, the candidates must know about the PNB SO Exam Pattern 2025.

The selection will be based on either the Online Examination and the Personal Interview or the Personal Interview only, depending upon the number of applications received against each post.

The detailed exam pattern for the online exam is given below.

1. The exam will be held in two parts.
2. The total time duration for the exam is 120 minutes.
3. There will be 150 questions of 200 marks in total.
4. There is a negative marking in the examination. One-fourth of the marks will be deducted from that question whose answer is marked wrong by the candidate.

Note- Part II i.e. Professional Knowledge of the candidate will only be evaluated if a candidate qualifies the Part I of the Online Examination. And, the minimum qualifying marks for each subject will be decided by the bank later on.

The candidates who qualify for the online written examination will appear in the Interview round of 50 marks. The minimum qualifying mark for the interview round is 25 marks (i.e. 50%) (for SC/ST candidates 22.5 marks (i.e. 45%)).

Note: The merit list shall be prepared based on marks obtained in Part II (Professional Examination) of the Online Exam and the Interview.
