Success Story of IBPS PO 2019 Topper Ajinkyasinh Rajput |

Hello Everyone,

I am Ajinkyasinh Rajput. I have cleared IBPS PO- XI with All India Rank 1. I have done B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating in 2019, I started preparing for bank exams. Initially I don’t know much about the banking sector and syllabus of the exam. I appeared for the SBI PO prelims exam and failed in prelims. Then, I started my preparation for banking seriously.

Here is my Section wise Preparation strategy:-

Quantitative aptitude Section:
Firstly, I started with the basics. I learned all the basic concepts with the help of YouTube lectures. I used the various Vedic math methods to increase my calculation speed as Quant is all about speed calculations. Then I mainly focus on DI as it covers a major portion of this section.

Reasoning Section:
Reasoning is one of the hardest sections in banking exams. I prepared for puzzles from the YouTube channel. The major focus should be on puzzles. But don’t stick to the hard puzzle. This exam is all about leaving the hard question and selecting good questions. Adda247 test series have a lot of good puzzles.

English Section:
Reading comprehension and vocabulary plays a major role in this section. Start reading any good newspaper. I preferred Indian Express always. Try to comprehend editorials in newspapers. Don’t focus too much on grammar.

General Awareness Section:
For this section, I used the Adda247 website’s daily current affairs. I used to revise it weekly. Don’t give more than 1 hr on the current affair daily. Adda247 weekly capsule is also very good. Read the past 4 months of current affairs only.

Test Series:
I joined the Adda247 Test series. The Adda test series is very good. Generally, I used to practice daily 2 to 3 tests before prelims. I used to solve daily one full length mock for mains. The level of the Adda247 test series alike to the actual exam. The test also covers all sections of the syllabus. Try to solve the topic wise test also.
