As many countries were already celebrating World Milk Day around June 1, therefore the tradition of celebrating World Milk Day on June 1st came. At the beginning of the discussion, a date in the May end was proposed, however, some countries were already having a list of holidays at this period, therefore, June 1st was decided as the special day dedicated to milk and other dairy products to show milk as a global food.
