LIC AAO to Refund Intimation Charges to SC/ST/PwBD Candidates

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released an important update for LIC AAO Recruitment 2025. In a recent corrigendum, LIC has announced that now SC, ST and PwBD candidates will also be exempted from intimation fees for the exam. Candidates from these categories who have already paid the fee will be refunded directly to their bank accounts after the application process is over.

LIC AAO Refund Intimation Charges

LIC has released a corrigendum for the LIC AAO Notification 2025 on 05 September 2025. This update pertains to the recruitment of AAO Generalist and Assistant Engineer (AE)/AAO Specialist. As per the previous notification, candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwBD category were not required to pay the examination fee. However, before this, they had to pay Rs 85 as intimation fee along with GST and transaction charges.

LIC AAO Fee Refund Update

In the new corrigendum, LIC has announced that SC/ST/PwBD candidates will not be charged Intimation Fees. This means that they will not have to pay any amount while applying for LIC AAO 2025. This update is a major relief for LIC AAO aspirants from SC/ST/PwBD categories, as it removes the fee burden and ensures equal opportunity for all candidates.

LIC AAO Refund Process

Candidates who have already paid the Rs. 85/- plus GST will get a refund. The refund will be credited to the bank account details given at the time of online application through the Collection Management Service provider. Refunds will be processed after the last date of applications.
