Agneepath Scheme 2022: Agneepath scheme is one of the revolutionary steps taken by the central government to give a young look to the Indian Armed Forces. Agneepath Scheme 2022 is rolled out by the central government on 14th June 2022. Under this Agneepath scheme 2022, candidates will be recruited for a period of 4 years and they will learn about Armed forces discipline and military attitude apart from the combat skills. This scheme is only for the recruitment of individuals below the rank of officers.

Indian army will be conducting 83 recruitment rallies this year and the recruitment notification of Indian Airforce and Indian Army is out now. This year the army plans to induct 40,000 agniveers, in the first batch around 25,000 Agniveers will be recruited by first half of December and remaining in the second batch by the first half of February 2023. What is Agneepath Scheme
Agneepath is the new human resource management scheme for the Indian armed forces under which candidates will be selected for 4 years of service and will be called Agniveers. On completion of 4 years of service, only 25% of the Agniveers will be inducted in the permanent commission for further 15 years and the rest will be released from the armed forces. The candidates to be enrolled under the Agneepath scheme 2022 will be governed by the army act 1950.
Agneepath Scheme 2022: What You Will Get After 4 years
A lot of protests is going on in different states of India amid the implementation of the Agneepath scheme and some youths are doing violent protest. The official statement has come out from Lieutenant General Anil Puri that there is no space for indiscipline in the Indian armed forces. Every Individual who aspires to join Agnipath has to give an undertaking and pledge that they have not taken part in any protest. There will be a proper police verification regarding the involvement of individuals in these protests, therefore, candidates must avoid taking part in such kinds of acts otherwise they will be debarred from joining the armed forces, and their dream to wear a uniform will remain only a dream. Seva Nidhi Package
On discharge at 4 years, the corpus of ₹5.02 lakhs will be matched by the GOI, and an amount of ₹10.04 lakhs and accrued interest will be given to the Agniveers. In the case of Agniveers who are subsequently selected for enrolment in IA as regular cadre, the “Seva Nidhi” package to be paid to them will comprise only their contribution including accrued interest thereon. In the case of Agniveers exiting service before the end of their engagement period on their own request, the individual’s Seva Nidhi package, accumulated as on date, will be paid with the applicable rate of interest. In such cases, no Govt contribution to Seva Nidhi Package will be entitled. The “Seva Nidhi” will be exempt from Income Tax.
Agniveer Skill Certificate
At the end of the engagement period, a detailed Skillset certificate will be provided to the Agniveers, highlighting the skills and level of competency acquired by the personnel during their engagement period.
Class 12th Certificate
Agniveers who have been enrolled after qualifying Class 10th, a certificate for 12th (equivalent) will be given on completion of their 4 years engagement period, based on skills attained. Detailed instructions shall be issued separately

Agneepath Scheme 2022: Indian Army Recruitment
Indian army has released the Indian Army Agniveer Notification under Agneepath Scheme 2022 on its official website @https://joinindianarmy.nic.in/ on 20th June 2022. Candidates who want to join the Indian Army can apply for Agniveer Tradesmen, Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical, Agniveer Tech (Avn & Amn Examiner), Agniveer (General Duty), and Agniveer (Tech). The candidates who will get selected will need to undergo 6 months of training.
Agneepath Scheme 2022: Educational Qualification
The educational qualification required to apply for Indian Army recruitment under Agneepath scheme 20222 is given post wise below
