1. RESORT (Verb)=प्रश्रय
Meaning: turn to and adopt (a course of action, especially an extreme or undesirable one) so as to resolve a difficult situation.
Synonyms: address, recur
Antonyms: abstain, halt
Example: She would never resort to the law courts to resolve her marital problems.

2. GARNER (Verb)=संग्रह
Meaning: gather or collect (something, especially information or approval).
Synonyms: gather, collect, accumulate, amass, assemble
Antonyms: disperse, distribute
Example: he church members are trying to garner enough funds to purchase the pastor a new house.

3. SOBERING (Adjective)=बुद्धिमत्ता
Meaning: creating a more serious, sensible, or solemn mood.
Synonyms: dangerous, severe, difficult, grievous
Antonyms: calm, facile
Example:  Once again he was in the sobering presence of violent death.

4. POIGNANT (Adjective)=हृदयविदारक
Meaning: evoking a keen sense of sadness or regret.
Synonyms: affecting, pitiful, piteous, pitiable, pathetic,
Antonyms: cheerful, indifferent
Example: Because the poignant movie reminded me of my painful childhood, it made me cry.

5. TRAMMEL (Noun)=रुकावट
Meaning: restrictions or impediments to freedom of action.
Synonyms: restraint, constraint, curb, check, impediment,
Antonyms: help, assistance
Example: Protesters refused to let anyone trammel their first amendment rights and pushed for freedom and equality for all.

6.  SULK (Noun)=उदास होना
Meaning: a state of resentful silence or irritability
Synonyms: grouch, hump
Antonyms: cheerfulness, gaiety
Example: A child sitting in a sulk over a minor disagreement.

7. INVIGORATE (Verb)=बलवर्धन करना
Meaning: give strength or energy to.
Synonyms: revitalize, energize, refresh, revive, vivify
Antonyms: discourage, dissuade
Example: As soon as the water hits the roots of the dehydrated plant, it will invigorate it.

8. MALADY (Noun)=अधमता
Meaning: a disease or ailment.
Synonyms: affliction,disorder, illness, disability
Antonyms: comfort, health
Example: in the olden days people were always suffering from some unknown malady.

9. DRUB (Verb)=पीटना
Meaning: hit or beat (someone) repeatedly.
Synonyms: thrash, trounce, spank, beat
Antonyms: aid
Example: Continuing to drub the victim with his fist, the attacker didn’t stop until the police showed up.

10. MORIBUND (Adjective)=मृतप्राय
Meaning: (of a person) at the point of death.
Synonyms: dying
Antonyms: thriving
Example: As the moribund man held his Bible and took his last breath, a bright light appeared in the corner of the room.
