How to prepare for LIC AAO/AE 2020 Prelims Exam

LIC has released 218 vacancies for AAO & AE. This is one of the best opportunity for students who wants to be a part of this sector. The vacancies are released for different disciplines like:

Step 1 – Write Down The Exam Pattern & Syllabus 

i. It is very important to have the exam pattern and syllabus handy. You cannot afford to loose 10 minutes daily to search for it. Write it down neatly and clip it on your desk so that every time you sit to study, you know the topics that you want to target.

iii. Make sure you  practice a sufficient number of questions from each topic under Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and English sections.

iv. English section is just qualifying in nature but do not leave it thinking that way, because ultimately it can help you fetch high marks and ultimately increasing your prelim score.

v. Make sure to read an English Newspaper daily and keep yourself updated with the latest current affairs and happenings in the world. A step that you must have heard million times because this step is the only key to ace this section.

Step 4 – Take  Mock Tests and Analyze.

i. This will tell your preparation level and will help you to understand as to how you are performing in each of the sections as well overall. 

ii. The test are the best as they will act as a diagnostic attempt and tell your strength and weakness. The analytics part is the most crucial step as it will help you identify as to where you lack and will also suggest how to improve upon it.

iii. Take  Topic Tests in the begining  and then Sectional Tests to form a grip in each of the topics and sections mentioned above.

Step 5 – Analyse your mock tests 

i. The analytics part is very crucial and it is very important that after taking up the mock test you analyze it because it will act as an eye-opener for you.

ii. It will help you identify your strength and your weaknesses and will tell you as to where you lack and will also suggest how to improve upon it.
