IB ACIO Tier I Exam Date 2025
The IB ACIO Tier I Exam 2025 will be held on 16th, 17th and 18th September 2025 across multiple exam centres in India. The exam will test candidates on Current Affairs, General Studies, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning/Logical Aptitude, English. Candidates must ensure they are well-prepared, as the competition is expected to be high due to the large number of applicants.
IB ACIO Admit Card 2025 Release Date
The IB ACIO Admit Card 2025 will be released on the official website a few days before the exam. As per the exam updates, the admit card is expected to be available around 04 days before the exam dates. Candidates will be able to download it using their registration details. The admit card will contain important details like exam date, shift timing, reporting time, and exact exam centre address.
IB ACIO Exam Shift Timing
The IB ACIO Exam 2025 will be conducted in multiple shifts to manage the large number of candidates. As per the schedule, the exam will take place in two sessions Shift 1 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and Shift 2 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. IB ACIO Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The IB ACIO exam is held in three stages Tier I (Objective Test), Tier II (Descriptive Test), and Interview. Each stage checks different skills like reasoning, knowledge, writing ability, and personality.
Tier I (Objective Test – 100 Marks, 1 Hour)
This stage has 5 sections, each with 20 questions (20 marks):
- Current Affairs – latest national & international news, government schemes, awards, sports.
- General Studies – history, geography, polity, economics, science, static GK.
- Numerical Aptitude – arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, statistics, time & work, percentages, profit & loss.
- Reasoning – puzzles, seating arrangement, coding-decoding, syllogism, blood relations, verbal & non-verbal reasoning.
- English Language – grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, error spotting, para-jumbles.
Tier II (Descriptive Test 50 Marks, 1 Hour)
- Essay Writing on current issues (20 marks)
- English Comprehension & Precis (10 marks)
- Analytical/long answers on topics like economy, politics, security, or current events (20 marks)
IB ACIO Exam Day Guidelines
On the exam day, candidates must follow certain instructions to ensure a smooth and fair conduct of the IB ACIO Exam 2025. Carrying the admit card, city intimation slip, and a valid photo ID proof is mandatory. Electronic gadgets, calculators, study material, or any prohibited items are not allowed inside the exam hall. Follow the dress code and frisking rules as prescribed by the authorities. During the test, maintain discipline and follow the instructions given by the invigilators.

Many candidates often get confused between the IB ACIO Admit Card and the City Intimation Slip, but both serve different purposes in the examination process.
- IB ACIO City Intimation Slip: This is released before the admit card and gives candidates information about their exam city, date, and shift timing. It helps them plan travel and stay arrangements in advance. However, it cannot be used to enter the exam hall.
