IBPS RRB 2020 Notification (Supplementary) Re-open : Online Registration for IBPS RRB PO & Clerk from 26th October 2020

The Institute of Banking and Personnel Selections has released a supplimentary advertisement regarding re-opening of online registration  for IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant recruitments. The notice was published on the official webiste @ibps.in mentioning that this process is for applicatants who attained eligibility in terms of education qualifications by 9th November 2020 and who could not register successfully previously. The IBPS RRB PO and IBPS RRB Clerk application link will re-open on 26th October and the last date to apply online is 9th November 2020. The online preliminary exams will be conducted again for these applicants as mentioned in the new notice. You can download the official pdf given below.

IBPS RRB Online Application 2020 to Reopen: Important Dates

IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant Online Application to Reopen from 26th October 2020

IBPS released this new notice on 21st October, giving another chance to all banking aspirants who targetted the IBPS RRB PO and IBPS RRB Clerk 2020 recruitments. Now if you attain the eligibility in terms of educational qualification by 9th November 2020, then you can apply for this recruitment. The online exam for prelims will be held for IBPS RRB PO on 31st December 2020 and IBPS RRB Clerk Prelims will take place again on 02.01.2021/04.01.2021.

All those who had applied successfully during the registration window for CRP- RRB IX from 01.07.2020 to 21.07.2020 and were called for the Online Preliminary Examination during September 2020 for a particular post should NOT apply for that post.

New Eligibility Critera for IBPS RRB PO and IBPS RRB Clerk 2020

IBPS has made changes in the “as on date” of the educational qualification eligibility to allow candidates who have graduated post lockdown to apply for this recruitment. Rest of the eligibility criteria remains the same for both Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I recruitments. The following is mentioned in the official notification-

“The last date of eligibility, in terms of educational qualifications is changed to 09.11.2020. For other terms and conditions, candidates are requested to refer the Detailed Advertisement of CRP-RRBs-IX dated 01.07.2020. Revised Vacancies as received upto 21.10.2020 have been updated in the detailed advertisement on IBPS authorised website.

Before registering online, candidates are advised to read the detailed notification dated 01.07.2020 and follow the instructions mentioned therein.”

IBPS RRB Clerk Vacancies Increased

IBPS has also increased the number of vacancies for IBPS RRB Office Assistant recruitment this year. Now the number of vacancies for IBPS RRB Clerk is 5076, which means around 400 new vacancies have been added.
