Frame Your answer: During practice and even before writing an answer during examination, prepare a rough sketch in your mind of the topic. This will help you in writing with the flow. Do not write an essay or letter without flow as there is a chances for marks deduction.

Choose Topic Wisely: Do not hurry up in choosing a topic as it plays a crucial role in framing and writing an answer. Also, there is a limited time for the descriptive test so candidates are advised as such. You can not afford to write a letter or essay again and again. So, give 5 minutes to yourself for choosing the topics so that you don’t have to regret in the mid of the exam.

Stick to the Pattern: The descriptive test is all about the right pattern and content. Suppose you are about to write a letter, and if you are not able to write it in the pattern prescribed, you will not score well. Also, pattern and presentation is the first thing that is noticed by the examiner. So, keep this in mind.

Justify: After choosing a topic for essay, do not forget to justify the title as an examiner will look fo the justification of the title in their answer.

Content: Try to be to the point in your answer. Do not digress from the topic concerned. Make sure to supplement your answer with the relevant content justifying the title of the topic.

Grammar: Keep a check on the grammar. Make sure use of tenses, parts of speech and other parts are used correctly. Create simple but correct sentence. Also your punctuation should be accurate.

Always before starting and submitting the test, checklist the following:

1.Read the questions and your answer carefully

2.Write what is asked, do not move out of the track.

3.Before submitting the test, make necessary edits wherever required to avoid any mistake in the writing.
