LIC AAO Exam Pattern
The LIC AAO 2025 Preliminary Examination will consist of three sections: Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. Candidates will attempt 35 questions in Reasoning Ability and 35 questions in Quantitative Aptitude, each carrying a maximum of 35 marks. Both these sections will have a time limit of 20 minutes each. The English Language section will have 30 questions for 30 marks, also to be solved within 20 minutes.
In total, the Prelims will have 100 questions, but only 70 marks will be considered for ranking purposes, as the marks scored in the English Language section are qualifying in nature and will not be counted towards the merit list. The overall duration of the exam is 60 minutes.
- The Reasoning Ability section carries 35 questions for 35 marks.
- The Quantitative Aptitude section also has 35 questions for 35 marks.
- The English Language section consists of 30 questions, carrying 30 marks, but these marks will not be counted for the final ranking in the prelims.
