New Raag ‘Moitree’ has been composed to pay tribute to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibar Rehman

The new Raag ‘Moitree’ is dedicated to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with elements of ‘mattress or India Bangladesh friendship. It is the newly composed Raag integrating the classical rules for the composition of Raag.  

Three compositions have been presented which are written in Sanskrit, Hindi, and Bengali languages. The Sanskrit one is composed by Dr.Arindam Chakraborti; he is a professor at the Hawaii University in the USA. The Hindi lyric is composed by Dr. Susmita Basu Majumdar and developed by Dr. Ravi Burman, and the Bengali song is written by the disciple of Pandit. Ajay Chakrabarty and young maestro Anil Chatterjee. The composition of all three songs had been done by Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty. These three compositions containing references to the 50 years of liberation of Bangladesh and the birth centenary of Bangbandhu Sheikh Mujibar Rahman. The unique friendship between India and Bangladesh has also mentioned in the lyrics of the composition by Rajesh Jha. This is a special occasion of the 50th Independence of Bangladesh and the completion of 100 years of Most Respected Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman-jee. The historical program concluded in presence of both the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina. 

Bangbandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman: He is a Bangladeshi politician and statesman. He is known as ‘Father of Nation’ in Bangladesh. He served as the first president of Bangladesh and later Prime Minister of his nation.
