Directions (6-10): What should come in place of the question mark (?) in following number series problems?
Q11. The average age of Abhishek, Veer and Neeraj is 27 years and the average of the age of Abhishek, Veer and Gopal is 32 years. If the age of Gopal is 41 years. Then find the average age of Neeraj and Gopal.
Q12. Ritu and Neha started a business with capital Rs. 12000 and Rs. 16000 respectively. After 6 months Sonakshi also joined the business with capital Rs. 22000. At the end of year average of profit share of Ritu and Sonakshi is Rs. 1725. Find the total annual profit of the business.
Q13. Satish calculates his loss percentage on selling price in place of cost price and found 20% loss. He again calculates it and found that he sold articles at Rs. 96 less than cost price. Find the cost price of article.
Q14. Average age of Raj, his wife Arti and his son Maddy 2 year before was 42 years. His son Maddy married 1 year before and the average of present ages of the family is 38 years. Then find the present age of Maddy’s wife.
So, total age of Raj, Arti and Maddy 2 years before = 42 × 3 = 126 years
Present total age of Raj, Arti and Maddy = 126 + 6 = 132 years.
Present total age of Family = 4 × 38 = 152 years
So, age of Maddy’s wife = 152 – 132 = 20
