As you all know that SBI has released the notification for the recruitment of clerks in the bank. It is a blessing in disguise for those who were feeling low as a result of a failure in IBPS exams. Encash this opportunity as the vacancies are huge and that too in the MASTER Bank SBI. This is the first time that Sectional timing has been included in the Preliminary Examination of SBI Clerk.


What are the posts available on this recruitment project?
The post which will be available in this recruitment project is SBI Clerk cadre.
When will be the exam conducted?
The Tentative dates for Preliminary Exams are expected to be in March/April 2018.
The Tentative dates for Mains Exam 12-05-2018.
How many vacancies will be there?
The number of vacancies are more than 8301 for clerical cadre.
Will there be an interview after the written result?
As per the notification, there will be NO interview.
Will the exam conducted online or offline (OMR Based)?
Common Written Exam for SBI Clerical cadre will be conducted online (Both Prelims and Mains).
What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?
The candidate should Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.01.2018 i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than
02.01.1990 and not later than 01.01.1998 (both days inclusive).
What is the educational qualification required for various posts in this recruitment process?
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
Candidate having integrated dual degree(IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.01.2018
What is the Application Fee?
Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. 
Rs. 600 /- for all others.
When will the registration start?
Registration will start from 20-01-2018 to 10-02-2018
I have scored 55% in Graduation. Am I eligible to sit for the exam?
Yes, you can apply as there is no percentage criterion. You just need to be a graduate.
I am 19 years old. Can I sit for the exam?
No, You have to wait another year in order to appear for the exam. You must be at least 20 years of age and not more than 28 years of age as on as on 01.01.2018
How to calculate the Percentage?
The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester(s)/year(s) by aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of honours / optional/additional optional subject if any. This will be applicable for those Universities also where Class / Grade is decided on basis of Honours marks only. The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%.

Is the exam Bilingual?
The tests except for the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
What is the cut-off for being recruited?
There is no fixed cutoff for SBI Clerical Cadre. It depends on the performance of the candidates each year. Your final score is calculated based on your performance in the Online Test.
Is there a sectional cut-off in the exam?

As per the official notification released by SBI “No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects are prescribed”. Thus, there will not be any sectional cut off for this year’s SBI Junior Associates Recruitment’s Online Examinations.

Is there a criterion for negative marking?
There is negative marking of ¼ marks for every wrong answer.
