SBI Introduces Written Test for Circle Based Officer- Check Here Exam Pattern, Syllabus & Exam Date

SBI CBO 2020: The State Bank of India in a major suprise announced the written test for the recruitment of Circle Based Officer (CBO). The written test for the CBO will take place on 28th November 2020. On 10th november, the SBI has released the notice announcing the written test on its official website sbi.co.in. All the candidates, who have applied for the posts of SBI CBO 2020, are required to submit test centres through the given link https://ibpsonline.ibps.in/sbicbodnov20/. The candidates will have to select three choices of test centres.

The link is also available on SBI “Career” website and shall remain active from 10.11.2020 to 16.11.2020. However, SBI reserves the right to allot any centre other than the centre choice given by candidate.

Important Notice for SBI CBO 2020

Admission to online test of SBI Circle Based Officer will be purely provisional without verification of applicant’s document/ eligibility. The applicant’s candidature will be subject to verification of the details/ documents at the time of interview/ joining (if selected).

SBI CBO Exam Pattern 2020

With the introduction to the online written test for SBI CBO exam 2020, the SBI has also released the exam pattern for written test. The SBI CBO exam pattern is as follows:

Penalty for Wrong Answers in CBO Exam:
There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, 1/4th of marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. if no answer is marked by candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

The SBI has announced the exam date for Circle Based Officer (CBO) in the recent notice published on its official website. The Online Test for the recruitment of Circle Based Officers is scheduled on 28.11.2020. SBI CBO Selection criteria for Interview

The SBI CBO merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the online test. The list will be drawn state wise & category wise seperately. There will be no sectional cut-off.

Also, sectional wise marks shall not be maintained. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the State wise & Category wise vacancies will be called for the Interview from the top of the State wise & Category wise merit list subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score.

SBI CBO Interview 2020

The maximum marks for interview shall be 100 and candidate will have to score minimum qualifying marks in interview for being considered for final selection. Candidates qualifying for Interview under ‘OBC’ category would be required to submit OBC certificate containing the ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ clause. Candidates who have registered themselves as OBC but do not submit OBC ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ certificate and request to be interviewed under General category will not be entertained.

SBI CBO 2020 Final Selection

State wise & Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the Interview score (out of 100) subject to a candidate scoring the minimum qualifying marks in interview. Selection for each State & Category will be made from the top of the above merit list based on the interview score.

SBI CBO Recruitment Notification 2020

Earlier, the SBI had released the notification in July 2020 for the selection of 3850 Circle Based Officer (CBO) posts for which application started from 27th July 2020 and closed on 16th August 2020.
