Yes, final year students can also apply. No, they won’t ask for your 10th marksheet at the time of registration. Relax.
Exam Pattern – The “How Hard Can It Be?
For PO (The Officer One)
- Prelims: 100 questions, 1 hour. Fast or fail.
- Mains: 170 objective + 50 marks descriptive. Yes, you need to write like a grown-up.
- Interview: Yes. You have to talk to actual humans.
For Clerk (The Smart One’s Choice)
- Prelims: Same 100 questions, 1 hour. Little easier.
- Mains: 190 questions, no descriptive. Just objective.
- No interview: only a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). That’s it.
Verdict: Clerk is less stressful. PO is more rewarding. Choose your battle.
Tip to Actually Crack It
Most aspirants will:
Wait for notification → panic → study 2 days before exam → fail → post “SBI is unfair” on Twitter.
Don’t be that person. Do this instead:
- Solve 1 mock test today. Just one. Even if you score 30%.
- Do 20 quant questions every morning before checking phone.
- Learn 5 new English words while brushing teeth.
Small, stupidly simple habits beat “10-hour study marathons” every time.
