Success Story of Niyati Bajpai Selected as IBPS SO Marketing Officer in Union Bank of India

Hello Aspirants,

I was waiting for this day to happen that when will I write my story about what all I have gone through while preparing for these exams.

Before I write about my preparation let me introduce myself my name is Niyati Bajpai, I completed my graduation from Kanpur University in the year 2011 and my PGDM from Lucknow with marketing and finance as my specialization in the year 2013, I luckily got placed in one of the companies and served there for 6 months.

Now the real battle began, when I resigned from my company and started my preparation for banking exams. It all began in the year 2014 after my sister’s marriage that I joined one of the reputed coaching considered for banking With all my hard work I was able to clear IBPS RRB Po and IBPS PO written but couldn’t clear the merit it was very disheartening.

Later I searched a lot and came across Bankersadda where everything was available right from test series to video courses everything. Finally, with right strategy and guidance, I cleared my banking exam.

List of exams I cleared:-

In 2014:-

• IBPS RRB Po (written)
• IBPS PO (written) but not in the final list

In 2015:-

• SBI PO Written cleared
• IBPS PO pre-cleared mains out

In the year 2016,2017 and 2018 the list was the same where I could clear the written but was out in final merit.

The year 2020, which turned out to be the worst year for some because of this coronavirus happened to be the year for which I waited for almost 6 years.

Finally cleared IBPS So marketing and got union bank of India, now desperately waiting for my joining.

For IBPS PO:-

• 6months current affairs
• The Hindu newspaper for English and current
• Maths and reasoning through speed tests.

For IBPS SO:- 

For aptitude Bankersadda test series will do.

For Mains -my professional was marketing so only Philip Kotler and test series because in the end, it’s your speed that matters so give as many speed tests as you can.

In a nutshell, I just want to say that one should never lose hope because these exams need hard work but what really matters is how patiently you do your hard work,with proper guidance.
