RBI Assistant 2020 Mains Exam Postponed: Check to Know More About Mains Exam

The Reserve Bank Of India released a notice stating that the main examination for the recruitment of 926 assistants is postpone. The main examination was scheduled to be held on 29th March 2020 but due to corornavirus and as a precautionary measure RBI has postpone the main exam. The revise exam date is yet to be announced. Reserve Bank of India had released RBI Assistant recruitment notification in the month of January. RBI Assistant Exam was conducted on 14 and 15 February 2020 while the main examination is postpone. RBI Assistant Recruitment 2020 is a country-wide competitive online examination conducted in two phases i.e. Preliminary and Main examination followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). How To Apply Online For RBI Assistant Exam – Check

What are new changes introduced for RBI Assistant Exam 2020?

This year, RBI has introduced changes in the prelims phase of the exam. From now onwards, RBI Assistant Prelims Exam will have sectional timings of 20 minute while the total exam time remains same i.e. one hour.

RBI Assistant Syllabus 2019-20

Students who are aiming for RBI Assistant 2020 are required to prepare three subjects for prelims stage i.e Numerical Ability, English Language and Reasoning Ability. Before starting your preparation, knowledge about the RBI Assistant syllabus and exam pattern is must. The exam will be carried in two different levels i.e Preliminary and main exam. Both will be done online only. The exam will be Objective in nature. Syllabus of RBI Assistant is very detailed and is specified in the notification.

III. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the main on-line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official/Local Language of the State concerned as detailed below). Candidate not proficient in the Official/Local Language shall be disqualified.
