Hello Aspirants, in this article we are publishing the success story of Somya Buxi who has been successfully selected as the Scale 2 Officer in the Bank of Maharashtra. Below, you will read the success journey from Somya Buxi itself.

Success Story of Somya Buxi

My name is Somya Buxi.
I have recently qualified for the Scale 2 (Manager) exam of BOM. Bank of Maharashtra.
Currently, I am working with Bank of Baroda global trade service which is a subsidiary of BOB, and earlier I was in ICICI Bank.
I was preparing for IBPS EXAM since 2015 and have seen various up and down in my preparation phase and I also have passed a couple of exams like RRB PO, IBPS Pre mains but could not make my name in the final merit list. In 2018 I passed the ICICI BANK test and went to Manipal for PGDB. I went through the classes programs but my mind was still stuck in IBPS. The one-year program ruined my speed my accuracy in 2019 is blank for me VIA ICICI luckily I got International Banking department 2019 I was learning how to handle my department. Forget to tell you one thing I m very poor in English means I don’t know how to talk or how to frame a single sentence because of that only I m not able to crack my first ICICI interview as I m not able to speak in GD. Total 2 students were rejected and I m one of them. 2019 passed 2020-2021 COVID era we were told to do WFH.  I told my story to my roommate that I have cracked PO exam went to the interview and was not selected my roommate said u r dumb Somya what r u doing here u should have start your preparation.
So I started my preparation again from zero level literally from Zero level I started learning tables, and cubes. For English, my Boss and my work help me a lot. As in international banking, we have to talk to foreign Banks on regular basis. Day in and Day out I called foreign banks for daily updates on quotations for any discussions.  I remember on the first day my Boss told me Somya you don’t know how to communicate how can you be in International Banking group here only we are taking people from B school that day I decided I have to learn somehow of I have to work in the private sector.
2021: I started preparation.  I have RRB scale 2 exams I took 2 weeks’ holidays for exams. I prepared hard and have gone through no. Of quizzes provided by Adda247, mock test video lectures and the result is again zero I could not qualify for an interview again.
Then I decided I would not going to give any of the exams now I have to concentrate on IIBF certification maybe it will be good for my career growth and tired of Reasoning, Math or phir se wahi dekh ke ‘Thanku .. you r not shortlisted’.
I remember the word I told my mom when I came from examination hall…ki meri kismat me govt job likha hi nhi hai.
Feb 2022: I have given the Bank of Maharashtra exam. I was sure I m not going to shortlist Phir Socha yr Kal ko jab office se 10 bej gar ja rahi hogi to ye to nhi sochugi ki toda or pad liya hota to aaj 10 nhi bjetey.
Again started preparation lift me Fin short ke English. Desktop ke All tab me Adda247 ke PDF jab v time milta suru ho jao.
And finally, the day came when I went for interview or phir result wala din…I was shocked.
50 times I have seen that pdf ki mere hi to name hai na
Thank you so much Bankersadda team for your support, without you guys it would not be possible.
