The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is a pioneer banking recruitment body which is responsible for the recruitment of staff in public sector banks and regional rural banks. Eligibility Criteria for IBPS PO Exams

A Candidate who is interested in applying for the post of IBPS PO must be a citizen of India. Other candidates who can apply for the post of IBPS PO are:

  • A subject from Nepal or Bhutan,
  • A refugee from Tibet who migrated before 1962
  • Indian origin candidates who migrated from the countries Vietnam, Ethiopia, Zaire, Malawi, Zambia, the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Burma, and Pakistan with the intention of settling down in India.

Age Requirement

Minimum Age: 20 years

Maximum Age: 30 years 

 Though the lower limit of the candidates will be the same for all, there is relaxation offered on the upper limit for different candidates. The candidate must check the official notification ( when released) to check the age relaxations. It is important that all the candidates claiming to get relaxation on their age criteria should present proper documents to support the claim

Educational Qualification

The candidates applying for the exam should have:

  • A Degree of Graduation in any discipline from a properly-recognized university in the country. 

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Clerk Exams

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline.
  • Computer knowledge: Candidates must have a certificate/diploma/degree in computer operations/language/ studied computer/ information technology in high school.
  • Proficiency in official language: Candidates must have proficiency in the official language of the state/UT for which they will apply. 

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 20 Years

Maximum Age: 28 Years

It is important that all the candidates claiming to get relaxation on their age criteria should present proper documents to support the claim

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS SO Exams

 This exam will be conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the post of IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, law officer, HR/personnel officer, and marketing officer. Let us look at their Eligibility Criteria.

Nationality 

  1. The candidate must be a citizen of India 
  2. A resident of Bhutan or Nepal.
  3. Candidates of Indian origin who have migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Myanmar, and East African countries with the intention of settling in India permanently.
  4. A refugee from Tibet, who have migrated and intends to stay in India permanently.

Age Criteria

Minimum Age: 20 Years

Maximum Age: 30 years

IT Officer (Scale 1)

  1. Candidates should have an engineering or technology degree in Computer Science/Applications, IT, Electronics,  Electronics & Telecommunications,  Electronics & communication or electronics & instrumentation.
  2. Aspirants having a PG degree in the following fields are also eligible.
  3. A graduate who has passed DOEACC ‘B” level can also apply for IBPS SO 2020.

Agricultural Field Officer (Scale 1)

Aspirants should have a 4- year degree (graduation) in Agriculture, horticulture, Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering, or any other related field to apply for this post.

Rajbhasha Adhikari

  1. Individuals having a PG degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the graduation level.
  2. A  PG degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as a subject at the graduation level

LAw Officer (Scale-1)

Aspirants must have a graduation degree in Law(LLB) and should be enrolled as an advocate with The Bar Council.

Marketing Officer (Scale I)

2-year degree in MMS(marketing),MBA(marketing),PGDBA,PGDBM,PGPM or PGDM with specialization in marketing.

HR/ Personnel Officer (Scale I)

A graduation degree with a 2-year full PG Degree or Diploma in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, HR, HRD, Social Work or Labor Law can apply for this post.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS RRB PO Exams

Age Criteria

Minimum Age Limit: 18 years

Maximum Age Limit: 30 Years

Educational Qualification

  • Degree in any discipline.
  • Candidates having a degree in Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy will be given preference.
  • Proficiency in the local language.
  • Knowledge of Computer skills.

Age Criteria

Minimum Age: 20 Years

Maximum Age: 30 years
