Educational Qualification for SBI Clerk 2025
To be eligible for SBI Clerk, candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or possess an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government. Applicants with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) should ensure that their final passing date is on or before 31 December 2025.
Students who are currently in their final year or final semester of graduation can also apply. However, their application will be considered provisional, and they must submit valid proof of completing their graduation by 31 December 2025 if they are shortlisted.
Age Limit for SBI Clerk 2025
As per the SBI Clerk eligibility criteria, the age limit will be calculated as on 1 April 2025. Candidates must be at least 20 years of age and not more than 28 years on this date. In other words, applicants should have been born between 2 April 1997 and 1 April 2005, with both dates included in the range.
Age Relaxation for SBI Clerk 2025
The State Bank of India also provides relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to certain reserved categories, as per government guidelines. This age relaxation ensures fair opportunities for applicants from diverse backgrounds, including SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and other eligible categories, allowing them additional years beyond the general age limit to apply for the SBI Clerk exam.

Nationality Requirements for SBI Clerk 2025
To apply for SBI Clerk 2025, candidates must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- Candidates falling under these categories must produce a valid certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
