Name: Priya Sasi

Designation: Probationary Officer in SBI (Batch 2019)

Hello Everyone,

I am Priya Sasi. I am going to share my success story. First of all, I would like to thank God, my mom, Brother Sarath and My friend Sridhar, without them I am nothing. My journey to prepare for Bank Exam begin in April 2017. As the proverb goes “Misfortune never comes single”, tragedies struck my life back to back like Demise of my father, being jobless, heartbreak, ridiculed by others, financial struggles everything devastated me. I was failing in every exam. Those were the darkest days of my life. But I knew what the problem in me is.  my emotions were pulling me down, But I felt hard to control my emotions. I started looking for motivation and moral support from others, but later I realized “Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me” after that I started preparing diligently for SBI PO 2019. Although I felt dejected sometimes, I pushed myself.  and only because of that I finally got selected. My difficult times made me what I am now.

Exams I wrote:

  • SBI PO 2017 – failed in prelims (got 37.5 marks).
  • RBI Assistant 2017 – failed in prelims
  • SBI PO 2018 – failed in mains
  • NABARD 2018 – failed in prelims
  • RBI GRADE B 2018 – failed in prelims
  • IBPS PO 2018 – missed final cut off by 1.7 marks.
  • EPFO 2018 – prelims cleared.
  • SBI PO 2019 – prelims – 86.5, mains 131.6, GD, GE – 19/20 and PI – 18/30.

There is no particular strategy for my preparation and also, I am not a person who sticks to the timetable or study 8 hours a day, But I made sure I improve myself every day. I cleared basics first and then start taking daily quizzes and mock tests.

My special thanks to Adda247 team as they played a major role in my preparation. I cleared my Quant section basics from Sumit sir’s videos. Thank you Sumit sir for taking classes in both English and Hindi. Being a non- Hindi speaker, it really helped me a lot. Also, Adda247’s “MAHA MOCK TESTS” are really helpful in knowing where we stand. Seeing my name in Merit list motivated me. I prepared current affairs from Adda247 ”daily current Affairs update”. Also, I took daily quizzes from Adda247.

Thanks again Adda247 team for your great effort.

To all the students who are going through their toughest phase in life, I just want to suggest you this. “Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. So, don’t lose hope and push yourself harder”.

All the best guys!
