Solutions:

S1. Ans. (c)
Sol. Option (c) is incorrect as in place of “tumble” the word “tumbler” should be used.
“Tumble” means “to decline suddenly and sharply (as in price)”.

S2. Ans. (d)
Sol. Credible means “capable of persuading people that something will happen or be successful.” The use of “credible” is contextually incorrect.

S3. Ans. (e)
Sol. The word “Implausible” means “provoking disbelief”. And all the sentences use “Implausible” in correct sense contextually and grammatically.

S4. Ans. (a)
Sol. The use of word “extremely” in (a) is contextually incorrect. Hence, option (a) is correct answer choice.

S5. Ans. (d)
Sol.Adamant” means “refusing to be persuaded or to change one’s mind.” Option (d) is incorrect as the use of “adamant” and “fickle minded” is contradicting. Hence, option (d) is correct answer choice.
