How much salary is increased after clearing JAIIB?

To get an increment in the salary aspirants appear for JAIIB Exam and after qualifying JAIIB Exam they receive the increments. Increments are of 2 types:

• 1 Increment in salary after qualifying JAIIB Exam for Clerical Grade

If a banking employee receives basic pay of 11765/-, then after passing the JAIIB exam, he will get 1 increment. His/her new basic pay will be Rs11765+ Rs655=Rs12420.

• 1 Increment in salary after qualifying JAIIB Exam for Officers Grade

How much salary is increased after clearing CAIIB?

CAIIB is a promotion-driven exam and the salary of both the clerk and officer grade employees get increased after qualifying the CAIIB Exam. In-hand salary of an employee increases from their previous salary after passing CAIIB Exam.

• For Clerk Grade Employees-

Employees serving as a clerk in Public Sector Banks will receive two increments in their salary after clearing CAIIB Exam.

• For Officer Grade Employees-

After qualifying CAIIB Exam 2023 officer grade employees will get one increment in their salary.

A newly joined officer comes under the Junior Management Grade- Scale 1 post. After qualifying JAIIB/CAIIB Exams they will get an increment and will be promoted. A clerk can get promoted to the post of officer through two different methods. One of the way is through the normal or seniority method and the other is merit or fast track method. Under the normal/seniority method an employee has to pass the written exam to get selected as an Officer. For this qualification of JAIIB and CAIIB is not essential as they are promoted on the basis of their experience and seniority. In the fast track/merit channel an employee must have graduate/postgraduate degree, minimum 2 years experience as a clerk and also they should have the JAIIB and CAIIB certification.
