JAIIB 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The JAIIB course is available for individuals employed in the banking sector. Regardless of their length of service or age, banking professionals can enroll in JAIIB to enhance both their personal and professional development.
- JAIIB Exam is open for ordinary members of IIBF. Employees of banking and financial sector that are institutional members can apply for membership.
- Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent.
- Clerical/Supervisory Staff may appear with their manager’s recommendation, even without meeting the given requirement.
- Subordinate Staff of recognized banking/financial institutions who are IIBF members and have passed the 12th standard or equivalent are eligible.
JAIIB 2025 Exam Pattern
Candidates should familiarize themselves with the JAIIB Exam Pattern. Understanding the exam pattern provides insights into the number of questions, maximum marks, and time duration. Each paper will consist of a total of 100 questions, with a maximum score of 100 marks. There is no provision for negative marking for the JAIIB Exam. The duration of the examination is set at 2 hours for each of the compulsory papers.

To successfully qualify for the exam, candidates must attain a minimum of 50 marks out of 100. Those who achieve at least 45 marks in each subject and maintain an overall aggregate of 50% marks across all subjects in a single attempt will be recognized as having completed the examination. Candidates are permitted to retain the credits for the subjects they have passed in an attempt until the expiration of the time limit for clearing the examination.

Candidates have the option to choose their preferred language, either Hindi or English, for the JAIIB 2025 Exam. It is essential for candidates to fill out the application form, specifying their chosen language, as changes will not be considered later.
JAIIB Exam 2025 Time Limit
Candidates are allowed up to five attempts to clear the JAIIB Exam within a span of three years from the date they first register. This three-year countdown or five-attempt limit whichever comes first starts from the registration date of the first exam. These attempts don’t have to be in a row. If a candidate is unable to pass the exam within this period, they will need to register again.
The three-year period or five attempts begin as soon as the candidate registers for the first time. Even if a candidate does not appear for the exam after applying, it will still be counted as an attempt. Within the three years, candidates can appear in any five out of the six scheduled JAIIB exams. If they use all five attempts before three years are over, they must re-register. Similarly, if three years pass without using all five chances, they will still need to re-enroll to continue.
