RPSC FDO/ AFDO Result 2020- The results for the positions of RPSC FDO and RPSC AFDO are out now. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can visit the official website of RPSC and can check their results at www.rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. 

RPSC has declared 16 vacancies out of which 6 are for Fisheries Development Officer (FDO) while 10 are for Assistant Fisheries Development Officer (AFDO). Among the 6 FDO vacancies, 3 are for the General category, 1 for BC, 1 for SC, and 1 for ST category. Among the 10 vacancies of AFDO, 6 vacancies are for the general category while 2 are for BC, 1 for SC, and 1 for the ST category.

Important Details of the RPSC FDO/ AFDO Exam

The online application for the position of RPSC FDO/ AFDO started on 15th July 2019 and the last date for registration was 14th August 2019. The admit cards were being made available on 31st October 2019 while the exam was held on 8th November 2019. Candidates who appeared for the exam were waiting for the results since then and now the results are out for them to check whether they have qualified or not.

Candidates with the minimum age of 21 and maximum age of 40 were only allowed to apply for the position. Of course, there were some relaxations in the age eligibility based on a number of factors such as the category under which the candidates fall such as SC, ST, differently-abled, and many others.

Apart from the age eligibility, the candidates who applied for the position also needed to have educational qualifications of B.F.Sc Degree or M.F.Sc Degree or Masters Degree in Zoology with Fisheries as specialization. Also, the candidates were supposed to have good language knowledge of Hindi and also a cultural knowledge of Rajasthan. 

The candidates who have qualified in the exam will be called upon for the next round of selection after which the actual selection of the eligible candidates will be made for the required positions.

The RPSC FDO/ AFDO Result 2020 along with the merit list and the scorecard have been made available on the official website now. The cut-off marks depends on a number of factors such as the cut off marks of the last year exam, the number of vacancies for this year, the number of candidates who have applied for the exam, and many others. 

Candidates who have applied for the exam and wish to check their results can follow these steps. 

• Visit the official website of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) at www.rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. 
• On the homepage, you will be able to find the section of News and Events. 
• In this section, you will find the option of RPSC FDO, AFDO Result 2020 on which you have to click. 
• Here you need to put in your details such as your enrollment number and your date of birth and now click on the ‘submit’ button. 
• You will be able to see the results of the FDO and AFDO Result 2020.
• Download the sheet that you have in front of you on the screen and get a printout. 

After getting the result, you will be able to know whether you have qualified for the next round of the selection process or not. If you have qualified in the exam as per the mentioned cut-off marks, you will be able to go further to the next rounds of the selection process based on which your selection for the positions can be done finally by the authorities.
