EPFO EO/AO & APFC Eligibility Criteria
To apply for UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025, candidates must fulfil the following eligibility requirements:
Educational Qualification
EO/AO: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University/Institute.
APFC: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. Desirable qualifications include a Diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws, or Public Administration.
Age Limit
EO/AO: Maximum 30 years
APFC: Maximum 35 years
UPSC EPFO Selection Process
The recruitment will be carried out through a pen-and-paper based Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) followed by an Interview.
Exam Scheme:
- The CRT will be of two hours’ duration.
- All questions will carry equal marks.
- The test will consist of objective-type questions with multiple-choice answers.
- The medium of examination will be English and Hindi.
- There will be negative marking: one-third of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Only candidates who qualify in the written test will be shortlisted for the Interview.
EPFO Probation Period
Selected candidates will serve a probation period of two years, during which their performance will be assessed before confirmation of service.
