The novel coronavirus, that is believed to be originated in Wuhan, China has spread COVID-19 pandemic worldwide. WHO has name the virus as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 or SARS-CoV-2 and there are more than 1,930,014 cases worldwide with 119,806 deaths.
India has crossed the 10,000 mark of coronavirus cases on Tuesday, 14 April and some experts believe that the country might be in between stage 2 and stage 3 of the COVID-19 pandemic. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 14 April has announced the extension of nation-wide lockdown, where all citizen should strictly abide by the rules of social distancing and curfew.

Ans.The recovery time may vary from case to case but mild cases it is approximately 2 weeks and for severe cases it can be anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks.

Ans. People who get COVID-19 infection have been reported to show mild respiratory symptoms and fever, or flu like symptoms initially, after 5 to 6 days of getting infected with the virus.

Ans. The coronavirus causing COVID-19 disease is transmitted through droplets when a person infected with the disease may cough, sneeze or speak. Hence it is advised to maintain social distancing, staying at home and use protective gears if you out as you can catch the virus if you are within 1 meter of a person who has COVID-19 or also by touching a contaminated surface. Wash your hands regularly and maintain proper hygiene.
