Drone Certification Scheme

Vibrant Village Programm

Ministry of Home Affairs

Aim – To improve social and financial infrastructure in remote habitations, primarily along the border with China, will be an enhanced version of the existing border area development programme

Scheme for Economic Empowerment of DNTs, SNTs &NTs (SEED)

Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment

 It has been formulated for families having income from all sources of Rs.2.50 lakh or less per annum and not availing any such benefits from similar Scheme of Centre Government or the State Government  beneficiaries: De-notified, Nomadic and Semi Nomadic Communities

New India Literacy Programme

Ministry of Education

Aim – To impart not only foundational literacy and numeracy but also to cover other components such as Critical life skills, vocational skills development, Basic education and Continuing education 

Duration: FYs 2022-2027 

The estimated total outlay of the Programme is Rs.1037.90 crore which includes a Central share of Rs.700 crore and a State share of Rs.337.90 crore respectively for the FYs 2022 -27.

Prime Minister Development Initiative for the North East (PMDevINE) Scheme

Announced in: Union Budget 2022-23 

Ministry of Development of the North-Eastern Region 

Aim – To fund infrastructure, in the spirit of PM GatiShakti, as well as support social development projects conceptualised based on felt needs of the North-East 

Initial Allocation: Rs 1500 crore 

Implemented By: North-Eastern Council

Weather-based Crop Insurance Scheme for Cardamom

This scheme is intended to provide insurance protection to Cardamom Growers against adverse weather incidence which is deemed to adversely impact the cardamom crop as per the weather data recorded in the notified Reference Weather Stations (RWS).

Implemented By-Spices Board India under Ministry of Commerce & Industry in Kerala through Agriculture Insurance Company of India Ltd.

Modernisation Plan-IV for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs)

Ministry of Home Affairs 

Financial Outlay – Rs.1,523 crore 

AIM: It will equip CAPFs with modern state-of-the-art weapons and equipment as per their operational requirement, keeping in view their deployment pattern in different theatres Government has approved the scheme – 

Duration:01 Feb 2022 to 31 March 2026.

MSME Innovative Scheme (Incubation, Design and IPR)

Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Entreprises 

Aim – To promote and support untapped creativity of the MSME sector. It is a component of the MSME Champions Scheme

‘Donate a Pension’ Scheme

Ministry of Labour and Employment

It allows a citizen to “donate the premium contribution of their immediate support staff such as domestic workers, drivers, helpers, caregivers, nurses, in their household or establishment under the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan Scheme.  The donor can pay the contribution for a minimum of one year, ranging from Rs. 660 to Rs. 2,400 a year, depending on the age of the beneficiary

Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance” (RAMP) Scheme

Approved in – 2022 (commence in FY 2022-23) ▪

Central Sector Scheme 

Outlay: Rs 6,062.45 crore or USD 808 Million, out of which Rs.3750 crore or USD 500 Million would be a loan from the World Bank and the remaining Rs.2312.45 crore or USD 308 Million would be funded by the Government of India (GoI).

Aim: The scheme is supporting various Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID) Resilience and Recovery Interventions of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The scheme is launched for strengthening MSMEs in line with the recommendations made by U K Sinha Committee, KV Kamath Committee and Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (PMEAC).

MSME Sustainable (ZED) Certification Scheme

Ministry for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises 

Aim – To provide a roadmap to global competitiveness for the MSMEs of India. MSMEs will get subsidies as per the following structure, on the cost of ZED certification: 

  • Micro Enterprises: 80% 
  • Small Enterprises: 60% 
  • Medium Enterprises: 50%

e-Dispute Resolution Scheme

Nodal Agency – Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) 

Aim – To facilitate faster resolution of tax disputes for small taxpayers. This scheme is meant for taxpayers with a total income of up to Rs 50 lakh and income tax disputes not exceeding Rs 10 lakh.

Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (ABPMJAY)

Launch Year – 2018 ▪ Ministry of Health and Family Welfare

Under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, National Health Authority has launched a new version of the Health Benefit Package, 2022, adding 365 new procedures which took the total to 1,949
