How Banks Will Recruit Through CET?

Given below are some of the important points that you must notice:

CET Process

CET will act as a single screening test. You don’t have to appear for multiple preliminary exams. This will substitute the multiple screening test and Candidates will only have to give one screening test. This aims to helps students by reducing the burden on them. Students don’t have to pay multiple application fee or to travel at multiple locations for the exam.

CET: Second Round

Once the screening process will be successfully done then the selected candidates will have to appear for the second round of the process. The second round/ Mains examination will be conducted by the respective agencies namely: IBPS, Railways and SSC. The Second round of the exam will be more specialised and will be used for the final selection.

CET Syllabus

Now, as the screening test will be common for all the syllabus will be common for all as well. We are not expecting much changes but you never know. The final verdict can only be given once the syllabus will be out. So far, we are expecting four section namely: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and General Awareness. There will not be much changes. We expect that the CET will incorporate the syllabus of all the three agencies preliminary exam.

CET: Interview

As the CET will only act as a screening test and will have nothing to do with the Interview process. Hence, the interview will be conducted by the respective agencies and nothing will change as such. The interview for the banking exam will have the same syllabus and process and hence there is not much to worry about.

Will CET Exam be Conducted This Year?

We are getting a lot of queries regarding this years exams. This year’s exam will be conducted as given in the respective notification and there will be no change. Currently the setting up of NRA has been passed but it will take time and most probably we can expect the new recruitment process to start from next year. As of now, there is not going to be any change in the current examination process or stages or the way exams are conducted so make sure you keep studying and stop worrying as there is not anything to worry about. If any changes will be there, we will keep you updated.

Conclusion

We can conclude from the above points that CET will make the whole recruitment process very convenient and it will reduce your transporatation time, efforts and reduce the burden of paying multiple fees. There are more than 20 different exam conducting organisation and on an average a candidate apply for more than two recruitment process which may result in shedding a lot of money. The application fee for a bank is somewhere around 750 which is increased this year to 850/- so filling multiple forms can be financially burdening the already unemployed candidates.
