Candidates should take into account following factors while filling IBPS Clerk Online Application 2019:
Home State VS Other State:
If you want to work at the comfort of your home, then prefer your home state and fill bank preference accordingly as mentioned zone wise below. For other states, proficiency in the local language/official language of the respective state is mandatory.
Proficiency in Local Language:
LPT i.e Language Proficiency Test (if applicable) must NOT be taken causally as it has backfired in many cases & many candidates have failed to secure a job because of failure in LPT.

IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate must possess a degree of graduation or equivalent to appear for IBPS Clerk exam. Candidate should possess a certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination. Candidate should be proficient in the local language that he should know to read, speak and write it. He should be aware of the language of the state he is applying from.
Age eligibility criteria:
There are provisions for age relaxation depending upon the category of the candidate.
For General Category, the age required is:
Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 28 years
IBPS Clerk Application fees:
An application fee is required to complete the application process. Your application will be considered to appear in the IBPS Clerk exam only if you have paid the application fee.
Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Rs. 600 /- for all others
IBPS Clerk Salary:
A Clerk in a Public Sector Bank can get a salary of Rs. 18000 to Rs. 21000 during the training period. After the training period, the perks and emoluments are added and it may vary from bank to bank. The Basic Salary Component of Bank Clerk may vary in the range of Rs 11,500 – Rs 13,000. (with a scope of promotion).
