A candidate applying for the IBPS CRP PO Examination must be one of the following which are listed below if you come under any of these points you are eligible to appear for the exam.

1. Citizen of India
2. The subject of Nepal or Bhutan
3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement
4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India.

The IBPS PO 2025 recruitment process is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) which aims to fill Probationary Officer/Management Trainee (PO/MT) vacancies across 11 public sector banks in India. The IBPS PO 2025 selection process involves three key stages: Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, and a Personal Interview. The Preliminary Exam tests candidates on core areas like English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Those who qualify move on to the Mains, which includes both objective and descriptive sections to assess in-depth knowledge and communication skills. Candidates who successfully clear the Mains are then invited for a Personal Interview, which is the final stage of the recruitment process.

IBPS PO Interview Process

The IBPS PO Interview does not have a specific topic to cover. However, it is recommended to concentrate on general knowledge, current affairs and key finance-related subjects while preparing for the Probationary Officer Interview.

The interview carries a weightage of 100 marks, and a minimum score of 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) is required to qualify for this phase. The final result is determined by the marks obtained in both the Interview and Main exam, with a weightage ratio of 20:80 respectively.

IBPS PO 2025 Pre-Examination Training

Pre-Examination Training may be provided online for a limited number of candidates who belong to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), or Minority Communities. Candidates who are eligible and want to attend this training must select the option for PET while filling out the online application form.

(Note: Attending this training does not guarantee selection in any of the participating banks. It is only meant to help candidates prepare better for the exam.)
