RBI Assistant 2019 Notification

Generally, Reserve Bank of India release the notification for the recruitment of RBI Assistants in the month of October and the examinations for the recruitment process were conducted in November and December. Although RBI did not release the notification for the recruitment of Assistants in 2018, it is expected to be released in October or November this year. 

RBI Assistant 2019 Exam Dates

In the year 2017, the prelims examination was conducted in the month of October and the mains examination was conducted in the month of December. Although RBI did not release vacancies in the year 2018, the dates of RBI Assistant 2019 Prelims and Mains Examinations are expected to fall in November and December.

RBI Assistant Admit Card 2019

After successful submission of the RBI Assistant Application form, candidates will be eligible to download the RBI Assistant Admit Card for 2019 from the official website of the RBI. Candidates are required to enter Roll number and Password to download the admit card. The link will be provided here as soon as the admit card for the examination are released.

RBI Assistant 2019 Vacancies

In the last RBI Assistant notification, the number of vacancies for the post of RBI Assistant was 623. RBI releases the vacancies as per the requirement in the bank. RBI Assistant 2019 vacancies will be updated as soon as the official notification of RBI Assistant released. 

RBI Assistant Selection Procedure

As per the recruitment held previously, the selection is done through online examinations that will be followed by a language proficiency test in one’s local/official language. 
1. Online Preliminary Examination (Objective Test)
2. Online Mains Examination (Objective Test)
3. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

The final selection was made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the online mains examination and LPT is only qualifying in nature.

Note: One will not be selected for the post if she fails the language proficiency test no matter how much she has scored in the preliminary or mains examination.

RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the post of RBI Assistant. Eligibility is defined on two levels: Age and Education. Age Eligibility is determined on the basis of cast category of the candidate. However, RBI has given some age relaxation to the candidates which are as stated below:

Candidates who were domiciles in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in between the period 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1989 5 Years
Candidates, holding working experience of RBI Years of Experience (Maximum 3 years)

For Education eligibility, candidate must be a graduate in any discipline with atleast 50%  marks.This year, the eligibility criteria to apply for the post of RBI Assistant is expected to remain the same. Rest depends on the notification and we will update the information here as soon as the official notification for the recruitment process is out. 

RBI Assistant 2019 Exam Pattern

RBI Assistant Examination was conducted in two stages, i.e. Online Preliminary and Mains Examination (both objective) and the pattern was as follows:

Every year, some or the other changes are introduced in the pattern of banking examination so one cannot be sure if the pattern will remain the same or change. We can only wait for this year’s official notification to know what’s there this time.

RBI Assistant Syllabus 2019

RBI Assistant 2019 Application Fees

1. Rs. 50 for SC/ ST/ PWD/EXS Candidates.
2. Rs. 450 for OBC/ General Candidates.

RBI Assistant Result 2019

The results of RBI Assistant Prelims and Mains Exam will be released 15-20 days post the conduction of examinations.

RBI Assistant Cut Off Scores

The cut-off scores released by RBI depends on the number of vacancies announced in that particular year, number of candidates who appear for the examination as well as the level of the examination that is conducted in order to carry out the recruitment process. So, one cannot predict the cut-off score of future RBI Assistant Examination by simply relying on the previous year cut-off scores.
