SBI PO Prelims and IBPS RRB PO Prelims on 31st December !! What will happen?

The State Bank of India released its notification for SBI PO 2020 a few days back and in it the tentative dates for the preliminary and main examinations were also announced. As the IBPS will be conducting the online prelims exam for candidates registered in the second round of online application process on 31st December, this time the prelims dates for SBI PO and IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I are clashing with each other.

The year 2020 has hit hard on everybody and especially fresh graduates and job seekers, as the number of vacancies in each recruitment has decreased. In such circumstances it is very difficult for a banking aspirant to choose between two very important recruitment exams IBPS RRB PO and SBI PO 2020.

SBI PO Prelims and IBPS RRB PO Prelims on 31st December !! What will Happen?

Since both the recruitment will have common set of candidates (i.e. all banking aspirants) it is highly likely that the exam dates of one of these recruitment will have a change. It is possible that in place of starting the exam from 31st December, the State Bank of India might start the SBI PO Prelims from 2nd January 2021 and further conduct it in 4th and 5th January 2021 as well. Or another possibility can be that since SBI has released its exam dates in the SBI PO Notification after the release of the supplementary notification for IBPS RRB; IBPS might change the exam date for IBPS RRB PO 2020 Prelims. Well, these are just two possibility and we’ll have to wait until some official news is announced by SBI or IBPS or both. We suggest you to keep on preparing for the exams as the dates announced are tentative dates so far, and the final exam dates are declared in the admit cards.
